Christopher J. Perrotta, CPI, CEI, LEED AP
With over 20 years in the construction industry, Mr. Perrotta has practically sat in every seat at the table when it comes to the construction process. Over the years he has worked on projects ranging from $50K-$500M, serving as Inspector, Designer, Architectural Consultant, Trainer, Owner's Representative, Contractor, QAO Administrator, and Warranty Inspector.
Through AFI, LLC he has returned to his roots as the knowledgeable eyes and ears to insure quality construction for our Clients. He brings a great deal professional experience in the building sciences to bear and has personally conducted hundreds of property inspections, forensic water penetration investigations and specialized building envelope performance tests.
Mr. Perrotta has personally trained dozens of field inspectors, and he is an accomplished presenter of continuing education classes including: EIFS for Realtors, Construction Quality Assurance for Property Owners & Managers, Curtain Wall Systems, Roofing 101, 201 & Advanced Roofing Design Principles, Low-Sloped Roofing, Tapered Insulation System Design, EIFS Design and Quality Assurance, Green Roofing Design & Best Practices, Log Homes: Design, Care and Maintenance, and Below-Grade Waterproofing Systems. He is experienced in the system design of a variety of construction materials, laboratory materials testing, failure analysis, quality assurance program development and field inspection procedures. He prides himself in his ability to communicate complex building issues in a manner that can be understood by those outside of the field.
In his free time he enjoys an outdoor Colorado lifestyle, international travel and sailing.
